The Fresh Riftwalkers Event

The Fresh Riftwalkers event was created by a group of players led by Eden68.
After a few weeks or preparation and testing, the guild was created and players from everywhere were invited to level up together and experience the low levels of the game with group content being the primary focus.

Players are able to choose if they want to play ERA mode with restrictions to give that proper ‘Vanilla’ feel, or to just play how they like in Fresh mode.
A large amount of players joined, giving rise to multiple regular raid groups at level 50, covering different time slots so that everyone could join in.
The guild played Vanilla level 50 content for a good few months and started progressing to Storm Legion level 60 content in April 2026.

Players can freeze their XP gain using the XP Lock tick box found in Settings > Interface > Misc > Lock XP

Over 4000 characters have joined the guild so far, with newcomers still joining!
Player numbers on Steam have increased hugely, reaching peak numbers we’ve not seen for years.
Players are finding it easy to create dungeon groups and as we level through questing you can see players in the world helping each other close rifts and complete zone events.
